Functionality

The SAR anti-burglary roller shutter system is a solution designed to provide the user, with effective protection against burglary. Aluprof was the first Polish system provider to design an innovative system of anti-burglary roller shutters, which, as a result of specialized tests carried out in an accredited research laboratory in accordance with PN-EN 1627: 2011, received the 3rd class of burglary resistance. This solution can be used in both new and existing buildings.

Construction

The structure of individual elements of the anti-burglary system is made of extruded aluminum, which guarantees durability and strength of the product. Effective protection is guaranteed by, among others, the reinforced structure of the guideways, which prevent from bent or pulled out the roller profiles, and a special reinforcement in the bottom strip, ensuring high stiffness and stability of the armor. Additionally, a suitably strong and durable construction of the shutter curtain made of the PE 55 profile prevents it from being damaged during an impact. In addition, a latch mechanism mounted in the lower part of the roller shutter prevents the closed curtain from being raised, which guarantees effective protection of the house. Anti-burglary structure can be used in both adaptive and flush-mounted systems.

Comfort of use

Depending on the users’ needs, the roller shutters can be controlled: by means of an electric drive with a wall-mounted transmitter or a remote control, and also thanks to the use of intelligent control via a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Utility values

In addition to the anti-burglary function, SAR external roller shutters are designed to provide an appropriate internal environment for the building users. In unfavorable weather conditions, they constitute a barrier, that effectively protects windows against rain, snow or wind. In turn, in summer, they perfectly protect against excessive sunlight, at the same time limiting the use of air-conditioning devices, and thus the operating costs of buildings. However, it’s worth remembering, that the roller shutter in the anti-burglary system, due to its design and purpose, cannot be integrated with a insect screen.
