Pergola MB – OpenSky 140 Aluprof is an automatically controlled roofing of terraces, gardens and free areas of private properties as well as catering and hotel facilities.
The MB-OpenSky 140 structure is made of extruded aluminium, which guarantees its durability for years. The supporting posts are extremely tough and their geometry provides exceptional rigidity. The profiles of the posts and purlins are connected by means of C and L type joints. An innovative method of spacing the profiles with custom-designed cleats makes it possible both to ensure the stability of the entire system and to create an aesthetic connection with no visible gaps. The canopy is formed by a module composed of movable slats and fitted with a mechanism for changing their angle on an axis from 0 to 135°. The slats feature tailor-made seals for protection against rainwater and there is a drainage system located in the posts. This ensures that water is efficiently fed through gutters and downpipes to the storm drain.
Tests carried out on the system showed that, for structures with the dimensions of 6 m length × 4 m width × 3 m height, the permissible snow load is 200 kg/m², which corresponds to a covering of snow approximately 1000 mm deep and a simultaneous wind load of around 59 mph.
There is a free-standing version and a wall-mounted version, which comes complete with a custom-designed brackets, making it possible to insulate the wall. The maximum dimensions of one section are 7 m lenght × 5 m width × 3 m height.

According to research, a pergola with dimensions of 6 m long x 4 m wide x 3 m high has a permissible snow load of 200 kg / m², which corresponds to a snow cover height of approx. 100 cm, with a wind load of approx. 95 km / h.
The lamellas have special sealing gaskets that protect against rainwater. The drainage system placed in the posts allows for effective drainage of water through gutters and drain pipes to the storm system.

MB-OpenSky 140 pergola has been equipped with a fully electric roof control mechanism, which is additionally completely hidden in the system structure.
Smooth adjustment of the slat inclination angle in the range of 0 -135 ° allows not only full control of sunlight access, but also enables natural ventilation and free air circulation.
The control can be carried out using a remote control, a switch, an application on the phone or by means of an appropriate scenario programmed in the home control unit.
In addition, the pergola can also be equipped with various types of accessories, including: wind, rain or sun sensors, which significantly improve the comfort of use. It is possible to fully integrate the side covers with the roof control system, and thus control the pergola with one device.

The structure of the system is made of extruded aluminum, so it can be painted in any color from the RAL palette, and thus to match the window’s joinery color or the facade of the building. Powder coating technology ensures durability and strength of the coating for many years of use.
